Luisa (Featuring Azymuth) - Romantica/Lenha Na Fogueira

Two fantastic tracks from this warm-voiced Brazilian singer – both of which feature excellent backing from Azymuth! Jose Roberto Bertrami handled the arrangements, and the vibe is jazzy, which fits perfectly wih Luisa's vocals – which come across with the raspy soulful charms of a singer like Lenny Andrade or some of the bigger greats on the Brazilian scene at the time! "Romantica" is a nice mellow stepper – and "Lenha Na Fogueira" begins with some nice bossa-styled guitar, then leaps into a lively samba soul rhythm that's really wonderful! An excellent groover – made all the better by the work of Azymuth.
